It is fair to say that all Dublin knitters (those who are on Yahoo’s Group SnBIE and Ravelry) know This is Knit as their LYS (local yarn shop). It is easily accessible by public transportation (I usually take the number 7 bus from the city center or the DART to Blackrock) and it is THE yarn shop in Dublin.
There is a group forum on Ravelry dedicated to This is Knit. Several of the Irish knitting blogs have alot of nice things to say about the shop’s proprietors, Jacqui & Lisa.
I recommend that every Dublin knitter must experience at least one Knit Night in their knitting lifetime Thursdays from 7pm to 9pm is Knit Night at This is Knit…the ultimate place to have a SnB sessions!
