a knitting summer…
Knitters in Dublin have been busy throughout the summer; attending workshops, joining knit a longs and traveling to fibre-themed destinations.
I spent a good part of the summer sharing my passion for The KNiT. My knitting summer has included a yarn crawl of the city’s yarnshops, introductions to Ravelry, offering personalized knitting lessons and offering my expertise as a knitting nurse for those knitters who needed a helping hand with their projects.
This afternoon, I spent a couple of hours with O (Rav name: anaeli) as she was casting on for her first cardigan. Since the beginning of the summer she has one FO, attended two SnB events and recently joined Ravelry.
The DKC is looking for submissions from guest bloggers. We want to hear how about your knitting summer.
